Thermopine Decks
Thermopine is pine wood modified using controlled heat to improve its durability, resistance to decay and stability outdoors. The process reduces moisture absorption, helping limit swelling and shrinking, while giving the timber a warm golden-brown colour. Its distinctive grain and knots retain the natural character of pine.
Thermopine can be left to weather to a silver-grey finish or treated with a suitable UV-resistant decking oil to maintain its brown tones. Regular cleaning is recommended, with oil typically reapplied annually when retaining the original colour.
